Today at work, I received a handwritten letter from a “forth grader” at an elementary school in Missouri, requesting information about Columbus for his social studies project. It opens with “Dear Irene, Hello how are you?” and it’s signed “Your friend,” all in carefully penned cursive (in pencil).
How can you not love kids?
